The “Changing the Ratio” Badge

Ahh! Girl in tech! How did you get in there? Can you breathe? JK, you’re fine. You’re more than fine, you’re awesome! Although I completely made up the number above, the problem stands that women aren’t well-represented in tech, and the solution also stands: you, and more of you! So, if you aren’t a girl in tech yet, and you want to be, you should go for that, because the entirely made up number on the badge is VERY unbalanced and it would be great to make up a less unbalanced number! Ratio! Change it!

It’s not just the computers, of course, there are droopy ratios all over this workforce, so we say “GET IT, GIRL” to any and all female engineers, plumbers, electricians, scientists, race car drivers, football coaches, truck drivers, and sperm donors (maybe it’s not a real job, but the ratio is OUT OF HAND).
